A Look Into An Appointment With My Doctor
I’ve had tons of questions about the expansion process, and my doctor was kind enough to allow me to record my final expansion appointment. It’s not gross or awful, I promise! At the end he is removing some of the stitches that had worked their way out of the skin, but as you can see, I don’t feel a thing!
Oh my poor Michele, this was so hard for me to watch, even the minor poking and prodding had me near faint status. I know I need to watch and learn and understand, and I so want to be with you through this. It was a great learning experience that is for sure. I equate your expanders to when I had braces and the gave me an expander- it was a retainer that i had to turn once a day to literally break the roof of my mouth on a very slow basis so that my mouth could accommodate all my teeth. I can’t tell much of what you can feel and not feel but other than the poking it looks like you did very well. Thank you for this update. I sure am learning a LOT. love.
